See you at the tenth STIFF in ten days
Are you ready for the tenth edition of International Student Film Festival – STIFF? We certainly are, striking the days and counting the minutes until the time comes to go to Art-kino and pick up this year’s film treats.
We present you a rich competition programme, 40 films in total ranging across the genres and styles, in 11 screening blocks (Aberrations • Prophecies • Constellations • Beats • In Between • Breaking points • Hushing • Meanwhile • Blaze • Out loud • Tremors).
There is a rich side programme this year as well, with the Démodé exhibition in SKC Gallery from 22 until 26 November. Before the exhibition, as part of the Arcade workshop, we invite you to the pre-festival programme Mercury Retrograde, exploring visual communication and social critique through GIFs and memes. Mercury Retrograde takes place from 20 until 22 November.
Apart from this workshop, at Mini Art-kino Morana Ikić Komljenović is giving a workshop on production and distribution of films (25 November from 1 until 3 PM). After that, you can explore the wider notions of love and learn How to love in many ways (Filodrammatica, 25 November from 3 until 5 PM), while the day after you can examine the digital space and body and see How To Get Lost In The Safe Space (Filodrammatica, 26 November from 2 until 5 PM).
For the end, we prepared Tales of Studying in the Art-kino lobby – on 26 November from 3 until 5 PM join us for an inspiring conversation moderated by Mirela Džafić.
After the excitement offered by fantastic films, we will hang out in SKC Gallery and Palach everyday, to talk about films and life.
All the programmes of the festival are free of charge – as always!
