STIFF on the Road visiting 8th TurboFilm festival
STIFF on the Road, a traveling program of the Student International Film Festival is now starting it’s tour and the very first destination is TurboFilm festival in Reims.
STIFF selection of films will be presented at Campus Croix Rouge Cultural Center on Thursday, May 2nd at 7 pm.
Every year the festival organises the screenings of the award-winning films from the last festival edition. This year, along with two awarded films Nothing New Under the Sun by Damian Kocur from Poland and short animated film from Israel, I’m Not a Robot by Lina Tsivian we are proud to present the Croatian documentary film that won the 2018 Audience Award Where to? by Lidija Špegar.
The goal of STIFF ON THE ROAD program is to strengthen festival’s connections, promote talented filmmakers and inspire a dialogue on current issues and events.
TurboFilm festival (29th April – 5th May 2019) aims to promote the production of short films in the ACAL Region, in France and beyond, and to discover the future talents in film making.
In the past five years of STIFF existence, the festival counts over 3000 submitted films coming from around the world, out of which selected and programmed more than 250 most recent student fiction, documentary, animation and experimental films.
